Reason to change your oil!
| Sludge is an
ugly thing, especially inside your engine. An engine
requires clean oil to run for a long time. An oil change is
the single most important maintenance item your engine
needs. Use a quality oil. I prefer major brand names like,
Valvoline, Quaker State, Penzoil, Castrol. Don't use
department store brands! These may be cheaper but do not
have the long lasting additives required. Using cheap oil
can increase emissions, oil consumption, blue smoke, engine
noise and encourage sludge build up. |

Chey S-10 after 250,000 km. The engine's oil was either not
changed regularly and/or poor quality oil was used. |
