Replacing a Toyota Yaris Cabin Filter
| People with
allergies can appreciate the cabin filters that becoming
very common on many cars now. Even entry level cars are
coming with them. Cabin filters can be very difficult to
change on some, but the Toyota Yaris is a breeze to change.
Anyone could do it. No tools needed, and it can be replaced
in less than 5 minutes. You only need to pick up the filter
from your automotive supply store or Toyota dealer.
The filter is located behind the
glovebox. Just open the glovebox, then firmly press the
sides in, first one, then the other to allow the glovebox to
drop down. Lift it off the hinge pivots to get it out of the
way.

| Now simply squeeze the clips
on the right side to release the cover. Pull the filter out
noting which way the pleats, or folds are running. Now gently
insert your new cabin filter into the housing, put the cover
in place, press gently and your ready to put the glovebox
back. Align the hinges and lift the glovebox back into place.
Now you can breath easy again! |
