I'll post some stuff
here that may not exactly fit into any other area, or, maybe I
will post it here anyways.
I
used the mount cradle from Granny's
SpeedShop. I found it fit well and was made very well. It
was easy to install.
This is the Mazda power steering rack ready for
the engine cradle to be installed.
Remove the pressure lines making note which
line goes in which hole. Remove the bolts from the anti-sway bar
& the steering rack mounts.
You
need to trim off the steering shaft cover to slide the engine
cradle in place.
With the lines removed, you are ready to slide the cradle
under.
Pass
the steering rack's lines through the opening in the cradle
and connect BEFORE you mount the cradle. It's impossible to
connect the lines after the cradle is in place. Be sure you
connect the lines to the correct opening. You will have to
bend them a bit, and it's possible to make put them in the
wrong opening!
Here
is the cradle in place, all tightened down with the steering
rack mounting tightened down.
