The project has begun. I've
started updating the project pages, and will continue as we go. The
target date of completion is sometime July 2008.
This project is on hold until I
get the RX7 done..

Spring of 2008!
The car is a 1987 GXL 5 speed. The
car is in good condition, and shouldn't require much in the way of
repairs. The rotary engine is pushing 203,000 km, and smokes
when started after sitting a few days. The car is solid and
will take a Chevy small block just fine.

The car will be a daily driver, so reliability is
foremost. Performance will be a mild 5.7 LT1 with 245 HP, but
should still return 1/4 mile times around 13.5 sec. because of it's
light weight. |
